«Young Ukrainians welcomed in Mandres-les-Roses for a holiday camp»

Le Parisien

Forty Ukrainian children and teenagers have arrived at one of the accommodation centers of the French national association "Pupilles de l'enseignement public" (PEP) in Mandres-les-Roses. The PEP network, created in 1915 to help orphans from the First World War, aims to offer a few weeks of respite to these young people who have lost a family member due to the war in Ukraine. Europe Prykhystok has coordinated local actors in the preparation of these respite stays".

The initiative started with the emergency reception of 170 children during the summer, and this winter, two groups of 40 children arrived in France for a two-week stay with fun activities such as visiting Paris, Normandy and dancing, allowing them to forget the war for a while.
